The First Rockdale Math Competition
For the first competition, the format was very different from what it is currently.
Middle and high schools were invited to send unlimited numbers of students to compete in subject-specific levels: Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, and Comprehensive. The Competition involved a 30-problem, written multiple-choice test and four rounds of five-problem ciphering.
Trophies were awarded to the top 3 teams in each subject level per classification, and the top 15 individuals were recognized with a trophy.
Listed here are all team rankings per subject level and the top 15 individual winners in each category.
